Gary Shook, Kirk Dupont, Lou Aielli and Pete Ellerhorst comprise The Remains, one
of Cincinnati's most entertaining, sought after and respected bands. The Remains have performed nearly every type of venue and function imaginable,
with a play list so extensive and diverse, a good time is guaranteed for all.
The Remains is a musical group of four members consisting of Keyboards, Bass, Guitar and Drums. The group was originally formed in the spring of 1987 and has remained (no pun intended) together in its original form for the past 21 years. The name "The Remains" was originally taken to signify that we, the members of the group, were the last remaining members still performing from the various bands we have been associated with over the years. In essence, as others have left the music scene to pursue other paths, we have remained committed to providing the best possible value in entertainment. The members of the Remains all began playing as kids, with Lou Aielli and Kirk Dupont establishing locally successfull bands by the age of 12. Directly out of high school Gary Shook's band, "Rubber Soul", was featured on the prestigious WEBN Album Project. The total combined years of experience logged by each of the four members of the Remains in various bands throughout their careers totals well over 100 years. However, we feel the best is yet to come! The Remains have performed at hundreds of various events, bringing with them the ultimate in professionalism and musical versatility that is required to make any event truly successful. |
